Progressive and consistent novice chaser, Four Commanders, fits the bill for today's Irish Grand National at Fairyhouse. Racing and jumping well at a good level throughout the winter, stamina was proven in the 4m National Hunt Chase at Cheltenham. He is entitled to improve again for that run having been placed against two decent sorts and not been bottomed by Nina Carberry. He looks the one to beat this afternoon, racing off a competitive weight with the excellent Davey Russell on board.
