A quiet day on the Flat today with only 2 interesting races at Sandown. The capable Paco Boy (if he runs) is worth opposing particularly with the hill in mind. Virtual is the obvious alternative but Dream Eater might represent a bit of value (good form from last season). The Gordon Richard stakes also looks interesting with Tartan Bearer returning but he will find Pipedreamer hard to beat over his optimum trip. It's a shame how a once informative meeting has declined over recent seasons but a nice winner yesterday,worth noting; Star Ruby.
