All attentions this weekend focused on Cheltenham homework and eschewing the plethora of racing today. One exception however is the feature handicap chase at Newbury where Matuhi from the David Pipe yard might shed some further light on one of the notebook's leading handicap interests, Aigle d'Or. A good second to the impressive Nicky Henderson charge on his last visit to the track, he can be forgiven his last run and with a 5lb claimer on board could go close.
