Interesting if moderate renewal this year. The quality of the fields seems to decline by the year (probably due to timing and competition from big festivals) but picking winner as difficult as ever. Have selected 2 for small stakes to watch round; Sound Accord and Brooklyn Brownie. Both should benefit by the going as most of the others seem to prefer a bit of cut. The scottish champion hurdle also looks interesting and would like to stick with Secret Tune (one of this season's winning bets) despite him being out of the handicap. However Snap Tie looks likely winner.
