Sandown postscript

2 good pointers for forthcoming season with Paco Boy and Tartan Bearer defying expectations and winning well up the hill at Sandown. They appear to have plenty in the tank and should be both very much to forefront at the top level. The first Group 1 of the season at Longchamp saw an interesting runner from Ballydoyle, Thewayyouare, under a new set of colours (Sean Mulryan). Transferred out of Fabre stable he ran well enough until run out of it in typical french fashion. Winner (Vision d'etat) had already run. Thewayyouare should strip fitter next time and looks to be suited by cut.

cheers.....

top class tipping at sandown!_with benefit of hindsight frightening pace set by church island in betfred gold cup meant that hennessy prevailed despite jumping badly benefiting from a typical mccoy ride-well done!

meanwhile his flat counterpart ryan moore was seen to great effect landing a long distance double on tartan bearer at sandown and presvis in hong kong in group 1 race- a very good day or nights work depending on your time zone!!
