Second Season Syndrome?

Following his superb performances in the Gold Cup and King George last season, one could never have imagined that  Long Run would be odds against this morning. This is mostly due to Kauto's stirring display at Haydock and doubts about Nicky Henderson's charge following up his exemplar debut season. For me there are no doubts, particularly at Kempton, and fully expect Long Run to triumph. 5/4 is fair value and if sentiment takes over, we might even manage 6/4!!

Otherwise on a very busy day, focussing on the grade ones and looking forward to Rock on Ruby, Grand Crus, Bog Warrior and at Limerick, Sir Des Champs.

cheers....
