A great day to round off a great week. The Triumph got us off to a great start with Zarkander beating Unaccompanied to win the Juvenile championship. Followed my advice with a winning Exacta bet.
What followed later was stupendous, when Long Run's young legs, resolution and courage foiled the magnificent efforts from Kauto and Denman to land the Cheltenham Gold Cup. A thrilling spectacle and surely the best Steeplechase in recent memory.
Very happy with a couple of decent bets landed and a winning most Cheltenham (in percentage terms) in 35 years of wagering.
Happy Days and big thanks to all concerned for a fantastic Festival (review to follow).
