November Handicap

The November Handicap at Doncaster is the traditional closer to the turf/flat season. Coinciding with events at Santa Anita, this year's renewal seems somewhat overshadowed. However, it looks an extremely competitive race with plenty in with a chance. A tentative selection is for King's Destiny who has progressed nicely on softish going all season. His recent second to Opinion Poll looks the best form on offer. Nevertheless he may not be great value and a decent chance has to be given to the "flattering to deceive" Charm School, while best value may be found with astute tipster Donn McLean, whose selection Salden Licht stayed on well behind handicap blip Rainbow Peak last time at Newbury.

Elsewhere on the card, a possible left field bet may be Perfect Star in the fillies listed race. She finally races on favoured ground this season and being by Act One might relish the extra 2 furlongs.

best of luck.....
